We operate within core business hours providing out of hours support via our on-call function Job Role Providing 2nd and 3rd Line support to Business escalated via the ‘Service Now” system Ensuring all Server Systems are available and meet with Company requirements. Maintaining logical and physical security measures where appropriate. Maintaining systems both hardware and software. Ensuring hardware and software fault calls are placed, managed and resolved according to relevant maintenance contracts and in line with problem management processes Building pro-active and constructive professional relationships with other teams and departments Day to day support of Microsoft Server Platforms and MS Products (Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Active Directory, Exchange 2000/2003, SCCM, ISA Server) Day to day support of Linux Server Platforms Providing support to POC and deployment activities Providing out of hours cover according to stipulated rotas Essential Skills & Experience Outstanding skills working with Xenapp and VDI environments Experience with Cisco UCS environment Multiple years’ experience supporting day-to-day Microsoft Windows Server platforms and products (Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Exchange 2007/2010, ISA/TMG Server), Citrix, VMWare, Lync 2010, Faxination, Windows Clusters as well as Computershare in-house applications. Experience supporting Linux environments, Redhat & Debian. Diverse in depth technical knowledge and appreciation of Windows Servers, Hypervisors, SCCM, Exchange, Storage, SANs Experiencing working with Nutanix products. Able to work with both technical and those with limited understanding of technical concepts Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to manage multiple change work streams, often across many technologies Strong accountability and results-oriented, with ability to set priorities independently, provide follow-through, and meet objectives Understanding of ITIL v3 processes and functions Working for Computershare We pride ourselves on offering continuous training & development along with career progression opportunities for all employees.
