Overview
VNA Recruitment are currently recruiting for Experienced Carers to go around the Borough of Thurrock providing care in the community to residents in their homes. We are looking for caring and compassionate people with a practical and patient approach to helping people. You need to be able to work well under pressure, cope with challenging behaviour and work effectively as part of a team. The successful candidates will be relied upon to help people within their own homes with daily duties detailed below: Undertake tasks detailed in clients care and support plan using a person-centred approach. Help with providing personal care, washing and dressing. Help with food preparation, feeding and medication supervision. Carry out tasks such as housework, laundry and shopping. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients. Use manual handling equipment safely and effectively to move clients. Working and communicating with other health and social care professionals to develop care plans.
