My client based in Grays, Essex is currently recruiting for 2 Team Leaders to continue leading its well led service. As a Children's Home Team Leader you will be an excellent role model to the young people and you will lead, delegate, supervise and assess the support workers practice. Duties and Responsibilities: • Undertake the day to day management of the household as directed by the home manager or assistant manager • Offer professional practice support meetings to staff to complement staff supervision • Encourage, support and guide members of the staff team • Be the Key Worker for individual children • Attend Case Reviews, Planning Meetings and any other meetings as required • Undertake specific administration tasks within the unit as directed by the Home Manager • Actively participate in supervision, appraisal, training, meetings & consultancies • Maintain records as required • Contribute to the development of the children and young people through the provision of a healthy life style • To be alert to signs of distress or abuse and to ensure that the children and young people are monitored and protected and have their needs met ensuring that all safeguarding needs are met • Contribute to care planning and the implementation of these plans Children's Home Team Leader For this role the successful applicant will hold a Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
