Overview
Chubb Fire & Security are now seeking to recruit an Electronic Security Installations Engineer to report into the Operations Manager of our Croydon Branch. This position will be to work within an area from the Thames River down to the M25. The key focus of the role will be to install all security systems in a timely manner, including Intruder, Access Control and CCTV. This will include planning the installation of the system in accordance with the specification, agreeing the installation plan with the customer, instructing the customer in the correct use of the system and completing handover documentation, site records and timesheets accurately and legibly. In order to be considered you will a proven background in electronic security engineering and an excellent approach to customer service delivery. It is essential that you possess a full and valid driving license. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the following equipment:- Intruder - Aritech, Microtech, Scantronic, Menvier, intruder signalling equipment, digital communicator, Redcare, Dualcom, GSM dual path communications CCTV - cameras, lenses, multiplexers, VCR`s, digital recording devices, telemetry controllers, remote transmission systems, dome systems, pan/tilt/zoom assemblies, demountable towers and columns Access Control - standalone controllers, networkable controllers, PC based systems, PAC administration software, NAPCO administration software, reader technologies We welcome applications from experienced Electronic Security Engineers, Installation Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Project Engineers and Systems Engineers who live within Central/ South London/ Surrey/ Kent/ Middlesex.
