This role will work across multiple business functions as well as partnering with customers directly to drive innovation and opportunities. Responsibilities for the position of Senior UX Engineer Work autonomously and proactively with regional colleagues and clients to plan and conduct customer research. Interact directly with customers through workshops, interviews and case studies to understand their business processes, individual roles, goals and challenges and ultimately how your solutions can meet their needs. Likewise, if current products and services don't meet their needs you will need to identify the feasibility of new product development. Communicate efficiently across multi-disciplinary teams providing UX and customer perspective to department leaders. Ensure all activity is aligned with global business goals. Utilise your knowledge of design, research and usability testing methodologies and procedures. Collecting and analyse customer information to identify opportunities and engaging directly with the development and commercial teams to identify solutions. To be considered for this role you must have : Minimum 5 years' experience in product development, UX design or equivalent Bachelor's degree related to design research Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and solve problems collaboratively Experience of preparing and setting research protocols identifying personas and challenges, building workflows and conducting analysis Experience of interacting with and working alongside direct customers/users The Company: Our client is a long-established hardware and technology giant, best known for enabling Industry to better manage, monitor and improve their performance through mobile workforce products, they have recently entered the SaaS space.
