Trainer- Software Development- Online Classrooms £25,000 - £30,000 per annum We are currently recruiting for a reputable national Training Provider and a result of growth we are looking for an experienced Software Development Trainer to deliver Levels 3 and 4 apprenticeships via an Online Classroom Delivery Programme. As a qualified and experienced Software Development Trainer, you can expect: - Competitive Salary up to £30000 - 25 days public holiday and your birthday off - Pension Scheme - Business Mileage. This position is very unique, as there is limited travel. You will be using online platforms for the delivery and assessment of the qualification. You will be working from home, usually 4 days per week, with 1 day per week being out in the field carrying out testing and invigilation. Key Responsibilities of the Trainer/Assessor- Software Development Apprenticeships - Support apprentices within the academy associated with the Software Development programmes - Deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups and individual learners in a range of Software Development Subject areas - Actively support, mentor and motivate learners across the entire learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification. Contact will be varied and might include face to face, email, Skype, webinars etc. - Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience. - To provide professional and high quality Software Development training as part of the L3 and L4 apprenticeship programmes via SMART Online Classrooms - Invigilate vendor and awarding body exams whilst adhering to exam body and local policies and procedures - Responsible for the delivery of the programme to the agreed schedule and standards - To manage all uploaded leaner work within the agreed timeframes and ensure learner file naming conventions and storage processes are followed - To maintain accurate documentation Skills and experience required for the Trainer/Coach- Software Development: - Hold a recognised Teaching Qualification: e.g. PTLLS, Award in Education and Training - Ideally hold a recognised Assessors Qualification, e.g. A1, D32, D33, or TAQA or willing to work towards - Previous training experience in Software Development, ideally within Apprenticeships, Education or Training - Hold a recognised Qualification in Software Development or related IT Qualification - Previous of delivering inspirational training to groups of 10 learners - Knowledge of Apprenticeship standards would be highly desirable - Excellent all round IT Skills and knowledge of using online Training or Digital Programmes such as Skype, Zoom Virtual learning programmes - Proven track record in achieving targets and Quality Standards - Full UK Driving License and own transport, with flexibility to travel This position is being managed by Pertemps Newcastle.
