Senior PHP Developer - £50K – E-Learning Sector – Central Brighton or Remote Working with occasional travel to the office Key skills: PHP, Moodle/Totara, Linux, Symfony, Laravel and Zend An award-winning global Software client with offices around the world are looking to hire a Senior PHP Developer with experience using either Moodle or Totara to join their development team. as the Senior Developer you will be joining a development team who have over the years have grown to support the ongoing demand from customers and have adopted new technology which has revolutionised the way applications are built and delivered. An experienced Web developer with solid commercial PHP development experience with E-Learning technology and who is interested in developing scalable, flexible, high performance state of the art e-learning systems and web applications which are used by customers across the globe. Key Skills •A passion for technology and enjoys technical challenges to develop innovative solutions •Excellent understanding of OO PHP (Essential) ·Commercial experience working with either Moodle or Totara (Essential) •Solid understanding of PHP Frameworks, - Laravel, Symfony or Zend (Essential) •Good knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery •Working knowledge of Linux •Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues to fellow team members In this role you will receive training on the following: •Git, Gerrit, Jenkins or similar development pipeline tools. •Docker & Microservices. •PostgreSQL and/or MySQL. •Drupal. We are able to consider candidates who are open to working remotely, although may need to travel to the Brighton office on occasions for meeting.
