Overview

Job Title: Recovery Advisor Hours: Full time, shift patterns between 8AM -8PM Location: Leeds Salary: £18,000 - £26,000 Depending on Experience Recovery Advisor Join us as a Recovery Advisor and you will be supporting the Team Leader in efficient and effective debt recovery litigation service in respect of unsecured consumer debts. You will ensure all internal and external SLA’s set in relation to your caseload are achieved (including activities by those supporting you). You’ll need to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, 3rd parties, debtors/customers and colleagues by phone and in writing. As you will already have experience at this level you will negotiate with debtors and 3rd parties to maximise the net recovery level achieved for the client. Compliance with client requirements and regulatory and ethical standard (including the principles of 'Treating Customers Fairly’) will already be familiar to you as well as delivering work to a high standard. You will also be involved with helping to support the Litigation Assistants and may be involved in client meetings; client billing and reporting; embedding client changes; testing changes to system; workload allocation; new client take on set up. What they are looking for: Someone who has the ability to make decisions / recommendations based on legal knowledge and commercial acumen. Someone who can work under pressure with a desire to achieve deliverables. You should have the ability to communicate both in writing and verbally - in a professional and effective manner. You’ll need to know your way around a PC in terms of Word and Excel, and experience in consumer debt collection and debt recovery litigation (including County Court Rules) would be advantageous.
