DevOps Engineer / Automation Engineer (CI/CD PowerShell Windows). Are you an accomplished DevOps Engineer looking for your next challenge? This is a hands-on DevOps role, with plenty of opportunities for you to get stuck in at granular level, from helping to shape the CI/CD stack, design the architecture and integrations, to deployment and testing rails. In this DevOps Engineer role you will further contribute to architectural design of an evolving micro-service solution, focusing on automation and best practices to ensure the cloud design is a step ahead of its competitors. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be granted the autonomy to take the reins on a number of exciting projects, with a key focus on extending and scaling the core platform. You will work with Developers, Network Engineers, QAs and InfoSec in sprints to extend and refine platform features, enhancing performance and optimising growth, upholding the culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be an analytically-minded self-starter, able to positively initiate activity, introducing changes and propositions confidently. You will be required to extrapolate technical solutions efficiently, so clear communicative skills are essential. As there will be plenty and collaboration and knowledge sharing opportunities your industry expertise will be valued and relied upon, so it is desirable you enjoy keeping pace with the current technological climate and are committed to producing elegant, scalable development and solutions. Requirements: You have experience of developing CI/CD pipelines, specifically using GIT (with understanding of development workflows) You have strong experience with at least one of these scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash and Python You have strong knowledge of Windows OS and ideally Linux Ideally you will have experience with TeamCity, Octopus and Ansible You are familiar with cloud infrastructure, provisioning IaaS and PaaS services in Azure using Terraform, PowerShell, ARM and Azure CLI You have experience with SQL server, Redgate and DbUP You have experience with virtualisation and container technologies, such as Hyper-V, Docker and Kubernetes You have experience in supporting APIs, SPAs and Mobile Applications and Windows Operating Systems You have experience with project management collaboration tools, Jira and Confluence You're experienced in automated testing approaches and frameworks As a DevOps Engineer, you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £50k) plus benefits and some flexible work opportunities.
