Overview
Do you have experience working as a support worker with children up to 17 years with challenging behaviour, EBD and learning disabilities? If Yes Prospero has an exciting opportunity for you Support workers required for an immediate start In Birmingham for Adhoc/ long term cover for various residential settings supporting young people with EBD and learning disabilities in a 24 hour care service - various shifts available Duties Include: Supporting young people to live independently Providing a safe and stable environment Assist with personal care needs where required Provide support, advice and encouragement The ideal candidate will have: Minimum of 6 months support work experience with young people NVQ Level 3 is essential Restraint training such as Team Teach and Calm is desirable Experience working with EBD Pay Rate: £10ph Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference check Please contact: Kate on T: Prospero is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
