Principal Civil Engineer - Birmingham City Centre - Permanent Your new company A well established award winding multi disciplinary with a large client base, both local and national. The Transport & Infrastructure Design Service are responsible providing a number of engineering services across multiple sectors, at all stages of their client's project, from inception through to commissioning. Your new role An exciting opportunity for a Principal Engineer to join a will established Design Infrastructure team based in Birmingham City Centre. You will take a visible technical lead, willing and able to take responsibility for the technical solutions for projects. You also have the ability to help develop fellow team members through providing mentoring and support. What you'll need to succeed You will be technically independent within the field of Civil Engineering design, including for highways, drainage and external works. You will have commercial awareness with effective influencing and negotiating skills, as well as an aptitude to develop emerging and new client relationships. You will also have an understanding of other engineering disciplines, such as; geotechnical & geo-environmental engineering, structural engineering, transport planning and Flood Risk Assessment/Management.
