Overview
A fantastic newly created role has arisen in a Global Media Agency This role is an integral Finance Analyst role, which looks after all of the people related costs within the business; working directly with the CFO on a weekly basis, the successful candidate will be completing all budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting for the HR team. The team is close knit, fast paced and innovative - they're seeking an ACA coming straight from practice or with a few years industry experience, looking to translate their analysis skills into a Media environment Main duties include: Building strong relationships with finance and HR teams Help driving the process level improvement between stakeholders Driving analysis of financial and non-financial data, and using this to extract meaningful insights for decision making Looking after staff cost: identify areas that may be over/under resourced Identify and monitor people cost variances between actuals vs forecast/budget Perform run rate analysis on projections of future costs Provide senior management with timely analysis, intelligence and recommendations they need to make operational, financial, and strategic decisions Ideal candidate: ACA qualified (Big 4 or mid tier) Experience of cost analysis highly regarded Outstanding Excel skills Strong interpersonal skills - need to work with finance and non finance people Interest in Media highly advantageous
