Telephone Operator Peterborough Full Time, Permanent £18,000 - £20,000 (DOE) Are you a passionate Telephone Operator? And looking for an exciting new role? Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Telephone Operator to work with their very well established client based in Peterborough. This is not your typical call centre based position. Firstly this role is in fact within a law firm. Secondly, the successful candidates will only be dealing with inbound calls. Our client is looking to build a team to take the pressure off their main reception. Having previously outsourced this service our client is now looking to take inbound calls from within the business so to improve their customer care, service and retention. More specifically you shall be receiving all incoming telephone calls for all of the clients 4 office locations and connecting through to the correct person or assisting with their enquiry. You will be the voice of the company, provide excellent client service and have a good consistent knowledge of the firm. Job Specification for the Telephone Operator: Operates switchboard and routes incoming calls to appropriate departments following a workflow If unavailable type telephone messages Understanding of the services Buckles Solicitors provide and the ability to tailor calls accordingly to ensure the clients come first Actively cross refer clients within the firm where appropriate Manage and ensure the client's needs are met during the full process Follow up on feedback and listen to our Clients turning any negative feedback into a positive Log all activity remotely and review call data Assist in other administrative duties when required Person Specification for the Telephone Operative: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey this over the phone Have a professional telephone manner and be able to work as part of a small team The ability to thrive under pressure, enjoying tight deadlines and managing a variety of duties Strong organisational and administration skills Strong written and oral communication skills The ability to prioritise workload The ability to perform well under pressure Demonstrate and maintain a calm approach A good relationship builder Be able to anticipate and meet expectations This is a full time permanent Telephone Operator position, offering an annual salary of £18,000 to £20,000 with market leading benefits, a positive and encouraging work environment, exposure to industry specialists and the fantastic opportunity to develop a rewarding and successful career with a top ranking law firm.
