Overview
Group Accountant Your new company A fast growing PE backed business located in West Berkshire is currently recruiting for a Group Accountant to join their busy and dynamic finance department. A varied position, this Financial Accountant position sits within the Group function at a Head office location, reporting to the Director of Group Finance. Your new role Your new role will be a varied and complex position which will include but not be limited to the below: - Thorough review of management accounts for each individual entity - Compiling monthly consolidated board pack for Director of Group finance and CFO review - Identifying risk and providing commentary and solutions around analysis - Balance Sheet and income statement review - Reporting under UK GAAP - Driving continuous improvement in financial accounting and taking a lead to identify improvement areas - Assisting with covenant reporting and compliance - Developing and monitoring financial KPIs - Assisting with consolidation tasks - Multi currency consolidations - Assisting with tax accounting and transfer pricing calculations What you'll need to succeed You will be a Qualified accountant in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA, this role requires strong knowledge and experience of UK GAAP as well as multi currency consolidations. Further to this you will be a strong Excel user and confident in the use of ERP systems. This role will involve a lot of communication with stakeholders globally so experience of this from previous roles would be beneficial or the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in both finance and other areas of the business.
