Overview

The Wise Group together with the Scottish Prison Service and other third sector delivery partners has established the New Routes Partnership which will provide a mentoring service for almost 2000 prolific male offenders across Scotland. We are looking to recruit an individual who can provide advice and support to offenders using a mentoring approach. We are looking for passionate and driven individuals who can encourage, support and prepare clients for release from prison and facilitate successful reintegration into the community, this would include arranging help with housing, debt, benefits, addictions and family relationships. You may well have a previous offending background and spent some time in prison. If so, now is the chance to put this experience to good use and become a Mentor . A full driving licence is essential and the use of a car would be advantageous as there is some travelling involved in this post.
