Overview

The Opportunity The ISP organisation is responsible for procuring direct and indirect products and services for both projects and the business. Total spend is approximately €500M per year across UK, France and Italy. An opportunity has arisen for a Group Category Manager - Group Employee Benefits and UK HR & Consultancies to join the indirect procurement team. Working within an international context, the successful candidate will bring their experience and knowledge to provide client group managers with support on all HR related matters. In this role, you will work closely in collaboration with the HR specialist functions (Resourcing, Learning & Development, Remuneration & Benefits) from an HR governance and compliance perspective and with Global HR Business Partners from a business strategic perspective. You will also be responsible for the procurement of consultancy services at the national level for all applicants of the MBDA UK site What are we looking for? Preferably educated to degree level/Professional accreditation an advantage You will be expected to coordinate at group and national level, so the ability to travel within Europe and the UK is essential You will be responsible for the tender process: collection of needs from internal stakeholders, providing support on drafting specifications, manage the competition process through to selection of suppliers, contract signature and implementation. Confidence in negotiating with suppliers, and making recommendations to internal stakeholders. You will have strong experience in writing contracts and framework agreements. Experiences in preparing reports and dashboards to detail the activity in the categories for local and senior managers You are constantly looking to optimise your purchasing category by taking into account its strategic, tactical and operational aspects. Your excellent communication skills and expertise allow you to advise your internal clients You ensure the control of legal risks of your contract (respect of employment law, intellectual property law, obligation to provide advice, confidentiality, etc.) You must have experience of the fundamental purchasing activities including the basic rules and contractual principles, ensuring that they are respected such as the subject of the contract is clearly defined. Deliverables, deadlines, commitment of results. Having experience in e-Procurement tools is an advantage What’s in it for you? The Role Ensure market intelligence to identify trends and innovations for HR & Consultancy services Define a global sourcing Strategy and apply competitive methodologies to drive down prices to achieve and preferably exceed pre-agreed performance targets Conduct competitions at a global level, and at local NatCo level, where appropriate Prepare, negotiate and agree supplier contracts and frame agreements and ensure that these are being used effectively by the internal stakeholders Manage global Supplier reviews (Steering Meetings) with preferred and key suppliers in conjunction with contract milestones and SLAs. Manage the risks within the categories, escalating to the Domain Lead where relevant Manage contract expiration and maintain contract for assigned categories Measure and improve contract utilisation Perform local communication on new contracts and introduce new suppliers to challenge the current supplier base Build supplier relationships that generate value for both MBDA and the suppliers over time Guarantee the correct Suppliers’ Development, defining and monitoring agreed KPIs target to manage the performance What’s great about the team?
