Overview

Social Worker Suffolk Children's Disabilities Team £32 per hour 3 Month Ongoing Childrens Social Worker required within the CWD Team in Bury St Edmonds. Candidates will require experience of working with CWD and familiar with statutory processes. You will work in partnership with children, families and with partner agencies in order that disabled children and young people achieve their maximum potential. Duties of the Social Worker: • Undertaking home visits to gather information to establish any safeguarding concern- initial child /family needs assessments. • Undertaking and assisting with resource assessments for families and children to present to panel regarding short break care requirements. • provide a service to children with disabilities and their families • Work within the Courts, taking statutory action when necessary to protect a child Requirements: • Social Work Qualification • Prior qualified experience within a Childrens Social Work role • HCPC Registration • DBS Benefits of working with us: • SCS will fund the £9 a week fee via ARCH Umbrella company • SCS will pay £150 to any new Qualified Social Workers after 4 weeks in an assignment • SCS offer £250 for every Qualified Social Worker you refer over to us(£150 after 6 weeks in the assignment and £100 after completing 12 weeks) • SCS will offer £150 to Qualified Social Workers sourcing their own job and referring it to the agency • SCS will pay up to £250 each year to help with your Continuing Professional Development. • SCS will pay a "Thank you" bonus to Qualified Social Workers after each 12-month period they complete with SCS.
