Are you looking for a progressive role at a prestigious Top 50 Accounting Firm local to you? Based in the heart of Berkshire, one of my most established clients are looking to enhance their growing Accounts and Audit team. Due to an increased volume of business, they are currently taking on several new staff members making this an exciting time to join. As the company’s new Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior, you will be comfortable with the following: Working in an accounting practice and have at least 2 years of experience Working on audits from start to finish, assisting or leading depending on the client size o Attending planning meetings with Senior Management and other staff o Meeting with clients to set expectations and walk them through the audit process o Engagement letters and bank letters o Ensuring appropriate documents are available from the clients Preparing full sets of accounts for clients: accounts finalisation, file completion, presenting to management for review, tax computations You will ideally have some experience with: Being the lead on small client audits and assisting from start to finish on larger audits o In-house preparation and attendance on client premises Helping guide junior staff Working with clients with turnovers of at least £3 million Calculating tax computations This is a career-progressive role for the right person.
