DESCRIPTION Our Clients UK Corporate Services department is looking for a qualified Company Secretary to join their expanding Company Secretarial team, working in a fast paced and international environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Management of your own portfolio of clients from inception to dissolution; Providing full company secretarial services to the clients including ensuring all statutory filings are undertaken in a timely manner and advising clients as to best practice and governance; Attendance to and minuting of board meetings; Drafting ad-hoc minutes as and when required; Ensuring the companies registers are kept up to date and actively maintained as required; Completion of internal compliance files for new clients and file reviews for existing clients; Liaising with clients, both local and international, and responding to queries and requests in a timely manner; Liaising with colleagues from other offices in other jurisdictions regarding mutual group clients; Assisting with ad-hoc projects and other such tasks as maybe required; Training and mentoring of junior members of staff; Assisting the business development manager with proposals and attending networking events; Assisting head of departments with monthly reporting obligations and other such requirements; Working closely with HR, internal finance and other departments as required. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE ICSA qualified Chartered Company Secretary; Minimum of 4-5 years experience working in a professional services company secretarial industry; Passionate about providing quality client service; Good attention to detail; Willingness to be challenged and be flexible; Ability to work consistently in a fast paced environment; Ability to work independently and to overview junior members of the team; Ability to work and communicate with colleagues and clients from multiple different jurisdictions.
