Overview

Criminal Justice Recovery Worker required based at a drug and alcohol service in London. Working hours - Mon - Fri, 35 hours per week Pay rate - £14 - £16 per hour (negotiable depending on experience) Length of contract - initially 3 months About the role You will carry out initial screening / assessments, e.g. triage and comprehensive assessments, within a range of criminal justice settings, including prisons. Hold a caseload of DRR/ATR clients through the treatment system, including close joint working with the probation service and regular liaison with the courts Person Specification Understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within criminal justice or related field. Experience of delivering psychosocial interventions such as motivational techniques and relapse prevention. Previous experience of managing an Opiate caseload. Must have a valid DBS within last 12 months to be considered for this post.
