Overview
BUYER, Bolton, £25K YOUR NEW COMPANY Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Bolton are looking for an experienced Buyer due to winning a new contract and needing extra support. YOUR NEW ROLE Based in a team of three, reporting to the Senior Buyer you will be responsible for negotiating contracts with key suppliers, raising purchase order’s, liaising with suppliers to resolve quality and delivery issues, maintaining all records, obtaining alternative quotes to optimise quality, price and delivery, ensuring that new suppliers are compliant with site and company safety requirements. WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED To succeed in this role you will have experience using CAD, be proficient using Word, Excel, Outlook and Access and have or be working towards CIPS level 3 Previous experience in nuclear, oil and gas sectors is advantageous and a full UK driving licence is required.
