Overview
Clements Grey has engaged with a specialist Dairy product manufacturer looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Manager for their site based in Wrexham. Having recently undergoing a large transformation project across all levels they are looking for a people-focused Manufacturing Manager. The role will look to build a culture based on high performance, engagement continuous improvement. The ideal candidate must have a proven record of success gained within the Dairy food industry. As the Manufacturing Manager, you will be commercially aware, have excellent communication skills, and have the necessary leadership skills to drive and grow the company. Requirements and experiences: · Extensive understanding of lean and continuous improvement manufacturing and production techniques in a fast-paced, high volume environment. · Significant people management and leadership experience, setting high standards and leading by example with a strong belief in coaching, mentoring and training. · Experience of relevant KPI implementation and daily production meetings that reinforce quality, safety and delivery. · A dynamic and organised mind set, comfortable and confident on the shop floor and continuously working to improve value though adding activities and remove waste. · A passion for employee welfare and a good understanding of H&S and Environmental requirements needed in modern food manufacturing site. · Qualifications in food or drinks management or discipline. This will be a demanding role and you will report directly to the Operations Director, joining a business going through a period of large change.
