Store Manager
Overview
We are a family business, specialising in flooring with interior products. We have been established for 40 years and provide a friendly and fun working environment. As a growing family owned business we pride ourselves on our friendly ethos and the opportunities we can provide for our employees to shine in what they do. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Store Manager, for our busy showroom mainly within our Carpet and Flooring department, also working alongside the Furniture and Soft Furnishing departments. The ro le will involve the sale of all our flooring products, furniture products and soft furnishings. Selling to our customers both within the store and generating new business from telephone and email enquiries. Organising and managing the sales team. For this role we are looking for the following key attributes: Proven experience of working with customers; within the interior retail sector. Outstanding leadership, coaching and people management skills. Experience of managing a sales team to achieve goals, increase productivity and sales. Ability to build a strong staff and customer relationships, through articulate and knowledgeable communication with your excellent interpersonal skills. Proven organisational skills and attention to detail. A highly pro active outlook to winning new business and working with our returning customer base. Knowledge of carpet, flooring, furniture and soft furnishing terminology. Enthusiasm to drive the company forward and increase sales across all departments. Maintaining a high standard or customer service. Salary is dependent on experience. 28 Days holiday per year (inclusive of Bank Holidays). Staff Discount. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
