Position: Temporary Regional Manager - Part Time Rate: £25,037 per annum Hours per week: Part Time 25 hours a week Location: Derbyshire based in either site across Buxton, Glossop, Matlock, Chesterfield DBS Disclosure Level: Enhanced Start Date: 27th April 2020 ASE Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager to work with a Housing Association in the Derbyshire area. This is a key post contributing to the strategic and operational management of services. Working with the Head of Support and Business development team you will be responsible for development and growth within the region, ensuring the provisions of services are high quality and within keeping of the Associations values and standards. Working within the Association’s corporate aims and objectives you will be responsible for support and supported housing services within your region including staff, housing management, offices, finance, contracts and partnerships. You will provide leadership and guidance throughout the organisation in a specialist area and have quality assurance and service improvement at the heart of your work. As a senior member of staff you will be expected to contribute to the maintenance and development of the Association’s values, culture and ethos. As a Regional Manager your Key Accountabilities will include: Strategic Management Contribute to and implement strategies, monitoring key performance indicators and ensure services meet target. Produce an annual Regional operational plan which will contribute to the overall direction of the association You will be national lead on a specialist subject across the Association and support other services within your region such as social enterprise. You will be expected to deliver training as part of the regional team across the Association and share local training initiatives as appropriate. In consultation with the Head of Human Resources you will manage grievance and disciplinary matters across the regions of the Association. Staff Management Ensure the associations’ recruitment and selection policies and procedures are adhered to and adequate staffing is available to safely deliver services. Develop and support staff by providing effective supervision and appraisal and ensuring adherence to Association requirements for induction, training and development. Oversee the planning and allocation of work carried out by services, teams and managers through effective staff performance monitoring and evaluation. Create, maintain and enhance effective communication with staff teams within your region and across the association. Develop managers to effectively deliver the services and manage staff teams. Ensure staff are equally serviced across the region. Financial Management Take responsibility for the regional budget, ensuring that it is monitored and managed, reporting any variance from target with action plans to realign the budget.
