Overview

Key tasks for position holder: CAPA co-ordination - co-ordinate the timely closure of CAPA activities by liaising with the CAPA board and the CAPA owner to help the CAPA owner plan the identification of suitable corrective and preventative actions, identify a suitable implementation plan and monitor its effectiveness. Support complaint handling activities including monitoring of complaints to closure via the CAPA system. Support NCR closure activities in co-ordination with the Quality Assurance team, design and supply chain. Support QMS training activities to ensure it is implemented, effective and performed in a timely manner. Liaise with the QA team, design and supply chain to ensure that supplier reviews are performed in accordance with planned requirements. Develop a professional working arrangement with the teams to promote quality values throughout. Provide regulatory and quality education where appropriate. Key Skills and Competency: Good communicator with a track record in CAPA co-ordination and QMS related activities in a fast-moving medical devices environment operating under ISO 13485 and 21 QSR part 820. Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and use those relationships to drive action owners to implement pragmatic, effective solutions in a timely manner Good level of computer literacy Strong attention to detail skills Good problem-solving skills As there is a requirement to work to deadlines there is a need to be proactive at identifying risk to timescales and acting on them with a sense of urgency. Good amount of experience of working in either a quality engineering, quality assurance or regulatory role in a regulated environment. Degree qualified in a Quality, Engineering or related disciplines would be desirable ISO 13485 audit qualification desirable Trained in risk management Additional Information: Needs to be flexible regarding all aspects of the job role and give full support to all new systems / ideas that are implemented within the company. To undertake any other duties which may be required, and which are consummate with the post’s position within the company. The role may require some domestic travel as and when required.
