Proposals Coordinator

REED Business Support are delighted to be working alongside their Renewables/Oil & Gas focused client to source a; Proposals Engineer to add to their expanding team. The main purpose of the role is to turn prospective opportunities within the Renewables/Oil & Gas industry into winning bids through successful tender. Other duties of the role will include, but not be limited to – • Liaise with the relevant stakeholders to ensure they understand the opportunities, agree with the technical solution to ensure we can deliver the commitments being offered • Ensure Proposals adhere to consistent corporate standards customer schedule and target cost • Ownership of the production of the proposal documentation in accordance with best practice and business governance processes • Manage internal and external customer relationship until confirmation of preferred bidder and handover to the transition team • Gain a thorough understanding of customer requirements through liaising with the customer directly and/or the Commercial & Tendering Manager • Ensure that the bid is feasible and within the capabilities of the company • Producing of proposal documentation • Customer interaction to the point of choosing a preferred bidder • Along with the team, pull together contract winning solutions through pricing and commercial strategy to exceed customer expectations • Meet customer expectations by exploring all potential avenues to minimise business risk and costs We are looking for applicants with the following skills/experience: • Previous experience within Bids/Proposals within an Oil & Gas company • Experience of Oil and Gas or power cable installation dealing with projects valued at £10million • Bid Management experience on delivering proposals from multi-disciplined teams • Strong financial and commercial awareness • Background in trenching/plough solutions/offshore wind/pipe lay (Highly desirable) If you, or anyone you know would be suited to this role, please forward your up-to-date CV, salary expectations and notice period to
