Overview
Credit Analyst, Farnborough, to £55k package (cash to £45k) Reporting to the Head of Credit Management, you will play a key role in the credit management of the clients commercial finance portfolio. You will have specific responsibility for part of this portfolio and will require you to develop a close working relationship with other company managers, the business network and any other key stakeholders. The successful applicant will have to interpret financial information, identify risks and give advice and guidance to all stakeholders where needed. The Credit Analyst is responsible for credit decisions within their own authority and the preparation of credit reports with recommendations and presentations to the required authority level, which could be credit colleagues based abroad. You will need to be fully conversant with the client’s Credit Risk Guidelines and their commercial finance products and you will be responsible for the preparation and issue of funding & security documentation when new facilities are agreed as well as liaising with Solicitors to complete funding transactions on their behalf. To be considered for this role you will need: Previous experience in a similar Credit Analysis type role. Experience of corporate business and asset finance / secured lending credit assessment (preferred but not essential). Experience in the captive motor finance industry would be beneficial. Above average levels of numeracy as well as the ability to interpret and concisely summarise complex financial information. Ability to interpret finance agreements and legal documentation. Preferably educated to degree standard in a relevant subject and/or accountancy qualification, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB), Finance & Leasing Diploma or equivalent The package (realistically total value in excess of £55k): Basic salary to £45,000 plus bonus scheme Fully expensed premium car 27 days holiday plus bank holidays Buy and sell up to 5 days holiday Generous pension scheme with employer contributions up to 16% Health care Free on site parking
