Overview
Clerical Admin Officer - MOD Worthy Down/ £10.35 The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to: Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report Overseeing administrative procedures and processes Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources Preparing routine correspondence. To support the Regimental Treasurer by working in conjunction with 1x Finance Administration colleague in the administration of four charitable trust funds. The requirement is to; " Manage accounts using SAGE software " Conduct monthly reconciliations " Call forward DD payments via registered bank software " Make payments via BACS and utilise MS Office software on DII/MODNet in order to maintain spreadsheets " Produce letters relating to grants Specific responsibilities include; the collection of Association and Forming Corps subscriptions via DD, inputting new subscriptions to DD, the raising of invoices, management of RLC branded items, collation of payments towards Corps Activities and the initial processing of grant applications. Provide independent support to the RLC Museum Shop for the purpose of audit control. Related responsibilities include assisting with Financial Compliance by maintaining electronic and hard copy records and providing general clerical support by processing documents and computer records. Wider duties include processing mail and handling telephone/email enquiries. To provide dedicated financial support and account management, solely manage Direct Debits (DD) income and support the Regimental Treasurer in the screening and processing of grant applications. 37hrs a week max - £10.35 per hour - Until March 2021
