Overview

Service Manager - Edinburgh - 6 Months with view to extend Our Banking client is looking for a highly skilled Service Manager to join their Edinburgh based team on a 6 month initial contract with view to extend. "I have a requirement in my area (Data & Analytics) to have a Service Manager in the team to be based out of the UK - Edinburgh". Skill requirements: Production Support Manager with a solid experience (10 years) in service management i.e. incident management, problem management and change management. Should have experience of running incident recoveries, acting as pivotal point at the time of major escalations and doing the stakeholder management in crisis situations. Should have a thorough understanding of multi-tier applications architecture and how such application should be supported from business support and technology support perspective. Should be good in Linux and any of the RDBMS which will be key skill as to spot out any platform or application issues. Should have experience of working in DevOps model of support working in close engagement with development and platform teams.
