Our award-winning client is looking for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join their highly respected team in Leeds. The firm places real importance on providing a partner-led service with a hands-on approach and is renowned for being forward-thinking and commercially savvy. They pride themselves on having an innovative approach and commit to investing time and resources into building relationships with clients to understand their goals and achieve them. They also place great store in management and as well as fee earning that will form an important part of this role. The work itself is varied and includes a caseload of private client matters including wills, trusts, succession planning and the administration of estates for an extensive client base from business owners and high net worth individuals to clients with cross border issues and high value estates. As this is a more senior role you will also be involved in projects for the wider firm and have additional duties on top of the usual day to day role including business development, team management, learning & development and marketing. Our client is ideally looking for someone who has a minimum of 10 years' PQE and STEP qualification would also be an advantage. You should have strong technical skills and it is essential that you have experience dealing with high net worth clients. They also require someone who has experience of managing a team or supervising junior colleagues with a corporate background and excellent business development and networking skills. It would suit someone who is commercially minded with the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and internal colleagues. If you are at partner level don't let this put you off applying, however at this level you would need to bring something a little extra, this could be a contact base that differs from those of the firm already or a niche area of expertise that can be added to their department.
