Caledonia Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a key player in the freight forwarding industry. We have an exciting opportunity for a multi modal operator to join their successful team. Multimodal Operator wanted to join a forward-thinking organization. A company known for staff retention and development. Great package on offer and excellent opportunity The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience within a freight forwarder. The role entails: Quotations & taking bookings-Imports/Exports Liaise with shipping lines, co-loaders & 3rd party suppliers Communicate with client to ensure documents /clearance instructions are available Import & export - entries/clearances Enter & update shipment data in operating systems Dealing with relevant documentation Arranging collections & deliveries Freight administration Customer Service, updating customers with the status of their shipments dealing with enquiries & problem solving Requirements: Freight forwarding experience Imports/ exports global knowledge Able to work both independently and within a small team environment with a positive attitude, motivated and enthusiastic Sound organizational skills good IT capabilities and understanding
