Production Planner Isleworth, Greater London£30,000 - £38,000 Company Profile A well respected and established leader in the manufacture of highly precision machined components for various industry sectors including Aerospace and Medical. The company is looking to grow and develop their workforce within their up to date modern facility. You will be supported with on-going mentoring and training as appropriate. Job Profile The Production Planner will work in conjunction with the Director, you will be responsible for issuing, updating and controlling documentation and planning on behalf of the planning department and other duties may include liaising with customers and internal company departments. Key to this role will be the ability to analyse drawings and provide detailed quotes that are accurate in terms of both cost and time. Duties · Analyse complex engineering drawings · Create top level manufacturing processes · Provide customers with accurate estimates on CNC manufacturing times from drawings · Create accurate price quotes for customers · Produce customer-ready quotes containing all relevant engineering information · Deliver estimates within tight timescales · Attend quote review and acceptance forums · Liaise with the shop floor and management on order progress · Update planning methods on all aspects including material types and usage, setting and running times, treatment etc Skills & Experience · Experience of working in a CNC Precision Machining / Engineering Environment · Experience of estimating and producing quotes · Strong engineering ability with regard to drawings, manufacturing methods and timings · A sociable personality, with good drive and dedication · Exceptional communication skills · Motivation and desire to contribute to a dynamic business · Good understanding of MRP systems · A proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Hours · Days 40 hours per week · 07.30 – 16.30 Monday – Thursday, Friday 13.30 finish · 25 days holiday · Pension · Life insurance · Canteen facilities onsite Key Skills CNC Estimator, Precision Engineering Estimator, Estimating, Manufacturing Process, Quote, Quoting, Cost Reduction, Time Cycle Reduction, Time-Cycle Reduction, MRP, CNC Machining
