Software Programming Engineer - Salary £ 36 - £38,000.00 Excellent Benefits Based: Chichester We are searching for an experienced Software Programming Engineer to join our Clients team. Being a software programming role candidates will participate in code creation and the delivery of robust medical devices for world-wide distribution. Meeting required product specifications along with preparation of supporting documentation. Key Responsibilities: Develop robust software, from software requirement specifications Creating software modules for Verification, Validation and Test Ensuring sign-off is obtained at each stage of development Support preparation of design specifications and associated documentation Ensure software is controlled and stored in line with company and Regulated Authorities standards Work with Software Team Leader and Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Manager to ensure compliance with medical device standards Ensure best practices are employed to maximise effectiveness and minimise non-value added work Add value to all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements Assist in software/hardware validation, verification and test processes from time to time Understand the customer requirements as set out in the Marketing Proposal Develop software in accordance with project software development plans Essential Skills and Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience with in Software Programming Experience working to medical devices standards (IEC 62304) Experience working developing code to regulated industry coding standards and guidelines Strong understanding of; C++ programming, Test driven development and Version control (pref git) Experience working with Linux (Desirable) A strong understanding of Systems including; MISRA, Python/Shell scripting, CI, IPC and Interfaces (I2C, USB, UART, RS232) (Desirable) Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to develop their career within Software Programming and join a dynamic fast growing and progressive business.
