Overview
A tight-knit Chartered Building Surveying organisation are searching for a creative CAD Technician to work on projects in the industrial, retail, education, and commercial sectors. This company is very flat in structure so ideas are often bounced between departments and they are also extremely committed to developing staff, so will support with CPD. The Company The CAD Technician will join a Chartered Building Surveying organisation who have been involved with projects ranging from the refurbishment of industrial and retail premises as well as the conversation of historic buildings. Providing clients with complex surveys through to design, specification and management of refurbishment and new build projects. The Role The CAD Technician will work closely with the Architects/Surveyors to understand the initial design requirements and translate these into 2D and 3D drawings. Duties will include: Using AutoCAD to create Technical Drawings Collaborating with the office team to meet deadlines. The Person The successful CAD Technician will have a portfolio consisting of either Industrial, Retail, education and high-end office fit out and: At least 12 months experience in a similar role AutoCAD Working knowledge of Building Regulations In return The CAD Technician will learn from experts in the field and will receive: £28,000 - £35,000 Generous holiday and benefit package Training, Development, and CPD.
