Overview
CAD Technician / Product Development Technician required to join a growing construction specialist that design and manufacture a variety of roofing and glass products. The company are well established and have an exciting opening for an experience Technician to join their Technical team focusing on product development. The suitable CAD Technician will have strong 2D & 3D CAD skills and ideally be qualified to a HNC / BTEC level or higher within a relevant subject. Product Development Technician Position Overview Update CAD drawings, products and applications Seek out opportunities for product development Set design requirements based on internal and external briefs Produce prototypes for testing Keep GA drawings up to date Work on design programmes using 3D modelling software to produce products and components Product Development Technician Position Requirements Understanding of construction products Understanding of UK Building Regulations and Standards Good CAD skills on 2D & 3D software (company use; AutoCAD 2020, Inventor, Fusion 360 or 3ds Max) Strong communicator Good time management skills Commercially aware Product Development Technician Position Remuneration Starting salary of £25,000 - £30,000 (dependant on experience) 28 days of holiday Pension scheme Company benefits discussed at interview stage Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
