IT Manager | Liverpool | Up to £45,000 | Pharmaceutical Industry Your new company A forward-thinking company, which operates within the science and sustainability industry are looking to expand their Liverpool IT Infrastructure team. Your new role As IT manager you will have a major input into the planning, creation and implementation of IT processes and strategies. You will manage a Service Desk team whilst maintaining a 'hands on approach'. Liaising with key 3rd party vendors, senior leaders, resellers and support teams on a daily basis; proposing solutions and initiatives that align with stakeholder objectives. Additional tasks include implementing, monitoring and patching IT Business Services; creating policy and process handbooks for common issues, and secure data integrity through regular backups, recoveries and audits. What you need to succeed To succeed, must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Windows service desk environment, being proficient on Office 365 and Active Directory. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is having the ability to explain expectations and work with employees of all levels. An aptitude to learn and develop, and the desire to help and maintain a high level of user confidence at all times is important. ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation is desired. What you'll get in return A salary of up to £45,000 (depending on experience), 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension contribution and the encouragement of continuous development i.e. training and certifications. Working hours Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.30pm, flexible working available.
