IT Infrastructure Engineer IT Infrastructure Engineer - Windows Server, VMWare NSX, Active Directory, Azure, F5 Load Balancers, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, ITIL, Agile - Warrington - £45-51k bonus bens An IT Infrastructure Engineer is required urgently to provide a full range IT infrastructure services across my client’s Enterprise. A significant IT Transformation programme means the role will be varied and will involve significant project work and IT issue/ problem resolution. IT Infrastructure Engineer Role and Responsibilities: - To provide technical expertise support to IT Infrastructure and Operations management for any IT issues/problems. - To provide technical expertise for business/IT implementations. - To provide IT expertise for Business Project and small changes - To provide IT expertise to ensure IT environment is configured in the most efficient and secure way possible IT Infrastructure Engineer Skills and Experience: - Significant experience of implementing and supporting small and large-scale Windows-based IT infrastructure - Expertise in delivering solutions with both high availability and proven disaster recovery capabilities - In-depth expertise with Windows Server and VMWare technologies (build, management and admin) in an ITIL framework - Experience of F5 load balancers, Azure cloud technology and automation (Chef, Puppet, Ansible) would be ideal - Knowledge of IT security, remediation of pen test issues, Infrastructure As Code or the Agile methodology would be very desirable The role involves providing consultancy services to the business and its customers on how to best utilise already-provisioned services. You will also play a pivotal role in how the company’s IT infrastructure environment will change and develop now and in the future.
