The Technical Services Lead is accountable for providing the Technical Service requirements of the S3 Logistic Support Contract (LSC). This will include a Level 3 Screening, Repair and Device Management capability at the customer premises within the LCS(T) facility, located in Donnington. This person will lead a team of people that will screen and repair the LSC inventory to ensure No Fault Found (NFF) are identified, low level repairs are performed, and a device management capability is provided. You will be working in close partnership with the Customer and the wider LSC Service Delivery Team (SDT) to ensure the full range of Technical Services capabilities are delivered and managed. Key Responsibility Areas Mobilising the LSC Technical Service Management of the LSC Technical Service team Management and delivery of the Level 3 Screening, Repair and Device Management services for the LSC Inventory Ensuring Technical Service personnel have attended and passed the relevant training courses. Ensuring Screening, Repair and Device Management equipment is adequate to perform the Technical Service requirements. Ensuring LCS(T) Technical Service facility is adequate to perform Technical Service requirements. Ensure all screening, repair and device management activities are captured on customer LogIS. Ensuring Disposals and Crypto processes are followed and performed as required. Attending and actively participating in meetings with the Authority and Design Service Contractors (DSC) Satisfaction and Rectification of Key Performance Indicators against the Technical Service Internal and external reporting requirements including financial reporting, project forecasting and forward planning Improvement recommendations for the Technical Service Provide advice and assistance to the wider SDT as and when require Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required Skills In addition to the necessary engineering expertise the applicant should have good interpersonal skills and, preferably, experience of working with multiple engineering disciplines covering test, repair and firmware. Qualifications Relevant degree in Engineering Knowledge Required It is highly desirable that the candidate has knowledge and experience of working within a Test, Repair and Device Management environment. Experience of multifunctional team management with skills and strength to supervise, coach, train and motivate teams. Experience in solving problems and using critical thinking skills to devise plans of actions and to counter problems before they arise Excellent time management focused on achieving priority requirements Experience of working within the defence industry.
