Overview
This digital agency specialising in bespoke development and work with clients and agencies across the globe. They build bespoke websites and web applications that include CMS, CRM, eCommerce, eMarketing and bespoke Databases. They also offer bespoke development services (such as API integrations and building complex marketplace projects) to their partner agencies. Projects are extremely varied but they always strive to push the boundaries of what is possible on the web. A great example is a Community Marketplace for the fastest growing enterprise software company in the world. About them and their stack: - A friendly team of 10 passionate experts and some furry friends - Based in Aldermaston near Reading (transport required) - A modern office - AWS and Google Cloud based infrastructure - HTML, CSS(Sass) and JavaScript - GraphQL/Liquid/YAML This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in front-end development and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. You would work alongside the Technical Director to be able to take on bespoke development projects including complex applications and integrations. You would need to be ambitious, driven and ready to expand your skill set. The role would include client project work as well as internal development and collaboration on team projects. - A minimum of 2 years' commercial experience (especially JavaScript) - A desire to push the limits and always learn something new - Demonstrate a good understanding of core web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) - Specific experience and interest in Javascript - Interest, understanding and usage of the latest front-end technologies - Ability to query data and interact with databases - Comfortable with using Git within a team environment - Good communication skills and ability to work proactively as well as within a team - Active Github account and example work They would like to see: - Experience with JavaScript/ES6/Node.js/npm/Yarn/Webpack - Experience with Templating languages including Liquid (used in Shopify, Jekyll and Adobe Business Catalyst) - Understanding of GraphQL/RESTful APIs Benefits: - Competitive salary depending on experience/potential (scalable). - Generous bonuses and benefits structure. - Laptop (Mac or PC) for personal and work use. - Spotify, Netflix and other perks. - Permanent role with potential to grow skillset and take on responsibilities.
