Finance Manager Job Stratford Upon Avon Your new company A charitable organisation in Stratford Upon Avon are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. Your new role Reporting into the Finance Director, as the Finance Manager your duties will be: To administer all functions of the Purchase Ledgers To administer all functions of the Sales Ledgers To administer all functions of the Nominal Ledgers To administer all functions of the General Ledgers To manage/reconcile cash handling To manage monthly membership Direct Debit run. To produce accurate monthly management accounts To produce monthly balance sheet reconciliation. To investigate and correct any discrepancy in Monthly contract reports To assist in the preparation of annual Budgets and Quarterly Forecasts To prepare quarterly VAT returns To process and manage monthly/weekly payrolls To manage current bank account. To produce comprehensive year end files with full documentation for audit. To be responsible for the development of system and departmental procedural improvements. Provide financial information and advice to Senior Management Team. Support the Financial Controller in development of Exchequer system Support & assist Finance managers in developing Exchequer proficiency Develop a high proficiency in Elan operation and reporting Support the Financial Controller in introducing additional Finance systems Attend Finance Manager meetings as required. Work closely with the Financial Controller and manage the Finance Assistants This is a great opportunity for a finance professional to join a well established team. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, the Finance Manager will have demonstrable management experience, have an understanding of developing processes and systems, strong time management and communication skills as well as a keen eye for detail. What you'll get in return In return, the Finance Manager will receive a salary of up to £35,000.
