Overview
Automation Tester (SC Cleared) Corsham Permanent 55k-70k (DOE) Benefits Automation Tester needed for a superb permanent career opportunity based in Corsham (Wiltshire). Active SC Security Clearance strongly preferred. A chance to join a leading global IT transformation business and to work on large-scale IT & Digital modernisation projects. Due to the Coronavirus crisis, our client will be conducting interviews and making offers via Telephone / Skype. There is also good scope for remote / home working. Start ideally in April / May 2020. Primary skills, experience responsibilities will include: Software Tester / Developer-in-Test with a good appreciation of test automation. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Experience with common test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber or Serenity, Continuous Integration tools - such as Jenkins, Hudson, Stash, git hub). Experience of testing UI and webservices based systems including end to end and/or in isolation using mocks. Working with large data-sets & appreciation of data isolation in multi-tenanted SAAS platform. Experience with at least one database desirable. Ability to write and maintain SQL insert, update and delete statements. Experience using test management tools for planning, execution and reporting (-eg- JIRA). Working knowledge of cloud environments especially AWS and automated infrastructure. Experience working in an Agile / Scrum. Further details to be provided at initial Telephone Interview stage.
