Overview
A Sous Chef is required to join the kitchen of a high quality, relaxed restaurant in West Yorkshire Role: A popular dining venue that is building the restaurants reputation as a great choice in the local area is seeking a Sous Chef who can support the Head Chef with developing the food offering at the venue. The property focuses on upmarket, pub style dishes prepared with high quality ingredients including award winning meats, farm sourced produce and lots from local suppliers. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch menus at present as well as hosting private events but is seeking to expand into evening service in the future.This means to begin with this Sous Chef role will require you to work five days out of seven, from 8am to 5pm but it is important that you are flexible for your hours to change as the business develops. Requirements: A Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef who has been working in high end, fresh food restaurants where you were cooking to one AA Rosette level is required for this role.A good knowledge of classic dishes alongside current, modern British trends is essential.As well as being a confident chef capable of working on all sections it is also important that you can assist with the management of the kitchen team.
