Room Leader – conservatoire Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. About the job: • 2x baby rooms: 3 Rooms: Baby Room, Toddler Room, Preschool • 49 Place nursery • Opening Times: 8am – 6pm (earliest shift 7.30am) Established in 2015, The Conservatoire Nursery is set in a historic Grade II listed building. In partnership with The Conservatoire multi-arts complex the children enjoy music, dance and art. This nursery has a sharp focus on observations, ensuring the children have the best opportunities to develop their young minds. Our new Room Leader will be an inspiration for the team and the families they work with. Through support and nurturing, they will help develop and grow their staff to the highest standard, delivering quality Education for Early Years. We would expect a good knowledge of the EYFS as well as being be open to learning new methods of teaching to enrich your practice. About you: Full and relevant child care qualification at level 2 or above. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and how this is monitored in a nursery setting. At least 6 months experience working in an early year’s setting To value holistic methods of teaching and champion heuristic problem solving in our children. To encourage a supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way. To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others. To understand the prime areas of the EYFS and be imaginative in their planning. To have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
