Room Leader – Fire Station Nursery Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. About the job: • 3 Rooms: 1 Baby Room, 1 Toddler Room, 1 Preschool • 45 Place nursery • Opening Times: 8am – 6pm Joining the LEYF family in 2016, Fire Station Nursery inspires curiosity and excitement The nursery is set in an old fire station and utilities all the possible space to make a vibrant and engaging setting. Our new room leader will be dynamic in their practice, demonstrating the ability to encourage enthusiasm and motivation. Our room leaders must inspire their team, becoming role models for our practitioners and instilling fantastic work ethic. As a room leader, you must be able to confidently manage the room effectively and be dedicated to providing the very best care and education for our children. About you: Full and relevant child care qualification at level 3 or above. Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection experience working in an early year’s setting and specific experience with Baby room. To be a confident leader, articulating your ideas and using planning and preparation to ensure their success. To distribute staff and resources effectively, maintaining ratios whilst supporting other rooms. To champion LEYF’s values and advocate our mission to save the world one child at a time. To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others. Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
