Room Leader: Mark’s Gate Community Nursery Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. Total capacity of Nursery: 63 place Nursery The Nursery consists of a baby, toddler and preschool room Nursery Opening Times: 8.00am-6.00pm Our New Room Leader will be dynamic in their practice, excelling in exceptional early years education and inspiring their team to maintain our high standards. Through support and nurturing, they will help develop and grow their staff, ensuring their confidence in creating exciting learning experiences.The successful applicant will have fantastic organisational skills and experience in planning. A good knowledge of the EYFS is essential and we expect an openness to new methods of teaching to enrich your practice. The nursery team have a very strong bond, sharing ideas and knowledge to encourage best practice. Marks Gate is an important community hub, providing much needed support for local families. About you: Full and relevant child care qualification at level 3 or above. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and how this is monitored in a nursery setting. At least 6 months experience working in an early year’s setting To encourage a supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way. To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others. Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
