Are you a hard-working, motivated graduate with a keen interest in consumer behaviour? We have a position available at one of the UK's most sought-after market research agencies. You have the chance to join our core team of researchers, work with experienced Insight Managers, be part of the data collection team and learn about the latest tools and techniques in market research. Emotional Logic is a specialist consumer insight agency based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We deliver national and international market research studies for major consumer brands. Our unique approach combines high quality research solutions with selected cutting-edge tools from neuroscience, social psychology and Neuro-Linguistic Programming to deliver a deeper understanding into what really drives consumer behaviour. We are offering you a chance to join our highly motivated consumer insight team. This position includes involvement in the data collection, analysis and reporting of major national and international research projects and will report to the Director of Research. Person Requirements: Due to the unique nature of our methodologies, and the fact we own a number of proprietary tools, in-house training is provided. The ideal candidate will have the following skills, abilities and interests: (2:1) or higher grade graduate degree from a major university Excellent numerical and maths skills Excellent command of the English language in spoken and written form Experience in statistical analysis of research data including some advanced techniques (such as Cluster, Correspondence or Regression Analysis) A keen interest in consumer psychology and consumer behaviour Ability to relate facts and numbers to real world behaviours Self-motivated and goal orientated individual who finds it easy to integrate into teams The following criteria would be advantageous but are not essential: • Experience in consumer or market research • Multi-lingual skills (especially French, German or Standard Chinese) • Full clean driving license that is valid in the UK Deadline for applications: Friday 3rd of April 2020.
