Overview
Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for: A Project Engineer for a 6 month contract for a client based in Rotherham. We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to work from our client's offices in Rotherham, but will be required to visit the site in the North East as and when required to ensure the project is on time and running to schedule. The job is a large conveyor/steelwork installation. The client is detailing the job not designing it. Essential Competencies/Qualifications At least 2 to 5 years relevant engineering and construction experience Minimum ONC Engineering related discipline or equivalent Membership to an engineering or project management related professional body (optional) ISO 9001:2015 Appreciation Training desirable Duties: Assisiting the Project Manager in the management of the project including any subcontractors. Assistance in ensuring projects and programmes are executed using agreed British Standards & processes to time and on budget using Microsoft Project Preparing project initiation documentation Preperation of project documentation for approval by the Project Manager Support in the design co-ordination from inception to realisation across both 2d and 3d platforms Identifiying, costing and processing any contract variations Experience of AutoCAD Hours of work are 7:30am to 4pm (extra travel hours etc).
