Do you want the rare opportunity to lead an exciting new Project in Yorkshire through from cradle-to-grave? Do you want to work client-side in an in-house development team? Gleeson Built Environment have been retained to appoint an exceptional Project Director to lead a new commercial and hospitality development scheme in Yorkshire. Working for the client you will join their in-house development team during the embryonic stage of the project to set up and plan this approximately £40mln scheme and see it through to successful completion in 2022. Our client is a well know organisation in the hospitality space who have built an excellent reputation and are market leader in their field. They are strengthening their real estate development team as they move into a new phase of growth, embarking on new building projects in various locations across the country. This project is situated in South Yorkshire and will see a greenfield location prepared and converted into a site that will include a hotel, retail units and significant infrastructure works. Our client is therefore seeking a high calibre Project Director from the Yorkshire area who can take full responsibility for the delivery of this ground-breaking scheme. As the successful Project Director you will manage contractors, stakeholders and brand partners throughout the lifespan of the project. You will possess significant building and infrastructure experience having managed large groundworks and infrastructure packages in the past. You will have been responsible for large-scale construction projects from an early stage and have seen them through to operation having worked for a developer, contractor or consultant previously.
