Overview
Big Data Engineer - Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, NoSQL, Big Data Big Data Engineer is needed for a consultancy working directly with a tier one investment bank. You will come from a strong background within Big Data as you will be working on the analysis, design and development of Big Data Solutions throughout the bank. As part of the Big Data Team you will be working on a variety of technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Hive, ElasticSearch and Splunk. For this they need you to have a background in data engineering working strongly around Oracle and SQL to an administration level. Other than the technological experience needed. It would be highly beneficial if to have experience around Agile Methodologies, business requirements and gathering so that you can lead development workstreams.
