Overview
Due to continued and sustained growth an exciting provider of turnkey process and packaging equipment solutions require an additional Design Engineer to add to its existing team. Responsibilities will include the investigation of new machinery designs and assisting with bespoke projects from sign off to delivery. Commutable from: Newtown, Welshpool, Shrewsbury, Leominster Salary: £ 35,000 - £ 40,000 p.a. Suitable for: Design Engineer The Role For the Design Engineer role, you will be well versed in mechanical or automated engineering design as you will work closely with other design engineers to define, develop and produce new machinery design resulting in better operational capabilities, reduction in production time and costs. The role will involve concept designing and detailing projects from start to finish including the production of all necessary drawings. The Candidate You will have experience as a Design Engineer ideally using Solidworks 3D CAD designing special purpose machinery. Experience of working in a SME environment would be desirable, but not essential. You will be a natural problem solver with a positive attitude and a desire to make a positive difference within a working environment.
